Northeast Factory Direct
Northeast Factory Direct Partners with Mean Joe Advertising to develop a growth-focused advertising strategy on tight margins.
Alex Nemet founded Northeast Factory Direct in 1999 by selling furniture out of a Lakewood garage. Eventually, Alex moved to a large warehouse tucked away on the west side of Cleveland, avoiding the high costs of fancier retail locations.
Since Alex worked on low margins, he couldn't pay for advertising that didn't work. Which is why he partnered with Mean Joe Advertising to take his company to the next level.
The partnership, which began in 2011, has helped catapult NEFD from a garage-based business to one of the most recognizable brands in Northeast Ohio. Throughout the years, Mean Joe has played a central role in all of NEFD's promotional and advertising efforts, including: traditional advertising (TV and radio), digital advertising, print advertising, outdoor (billboards) advertising, social media advertising, brand strategy, search engine optimization, website management and more.
Universal Windows Direct
Universal Windows Direct partners with Mean Joe Advertising to manage traditional and digital advertising efforts.
In 2016, Universal Windows Direct was celebrating their 15th Anniversary. The season before, the Cleveland Indians had gone on a remarkable run with a 14-game win streak. The timing was too perfect to pass up. To celebrate, we partnered with the Indians for a special deal. If customers shopped at UWD in July and the Indians won 15 games in a row, then UWD would cover the full cost of every customer’s purchase. This campaign turned the usually slow month into a record-high for sales. For the 15th game, Mean Joe arranged a watch party at Progressive Field for everyone who had purchased a project from UWD. Those lucky homeowners watched as the Cleveland Indians won the game, set a record, and paid for their home improvement projects. The story was covered by ESPN’s Kenny Mayne, sparking national news coverage for the next two days and several consecutive months of record-breaking sales.
Primary Home Improvements
Primary Home Improvements partners with Mean Joe Advertising to build a new website and launch a comprehensive Google Ads PPC campaign.
While Primary Home Improvements previous website had served as a functional starting point for the company's online presence, they had clearly out-grown their old website. They looked to refresh their digital presence with an updated look that was consistent with their overall brand identity. They also wanted to clearly communicate the services they provide. Most importantly, they wanted to re-purpose their website as a lead-generation tool, with multiple different landing pages and form-fill opportunities.
Easy Pet
Easy Pet partners with Mean Joe Advertising to design and develop a brand-new website for the growing company.
EasyPet is a pooper-scooper and pet waste management company headquartered in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. They offer premium pet care services with the goal of making pet ownership easier and more accessible to all. After acquiring another company in 2023 in the same industry, it was clear that they needed a complete redesign of their current website. They wanted a more user-friendly site that clearly communicated the companies services. Moreover, they wanted to leverage their new website as a lead-generation tool. Mean Joe Advertising partnered with EasyPet on their website overhaul to deliver a fresh digital presence for the growing company. The integration of multiple landing pages, combined with SEO-friendly design and development has produced hundreds of new leads that have converted into substatial customer growth.
